Introduction

The data forwarding section of the ubiworx Broker interface allows users to push information to third party cloud services.

Customers that already use or plan on using these cloud services in their solutions can enable there gateways with the push of a button. This simplifies the process of adding ubiworx enabled gateways into existing solutions while still benefitting from all the features that our framework has to offer.

Prerequisites

In order to enable data forwarding a user needs to have a valid account with the cloud service he wishes to send data to.

The steps bellow show users the minimum steps necessaary to enable data forwarding. For detailed instructions on each cloud service that we support please refer to the apropriate section in the ubiworx data cloud services guide

Open the data forwarding tab

• Click the ubiworx logo in the top left corner of the interface.
• Select the Data Forwarding tab from the left navigation menu.

Add account details

• Click the cloud service provider you wish to use

• Fill in the details and click save

Send data

• Make sure the gateway is registered in the cloud service account, see detailed instructions in the ubiworx data cloud services guide.

• Toggle the forwarding button On or Off to activate or disable data forwarding.
