Gateway parameters List¶

This is an apendix with extended information useful for adding a new gateway.
General information¶
Fields marked with an * are mandatory.
| Field | Description

| Name * | Name for the new gateway.
|
| Unique ID * | Unique ID, this ID needs to be globally unique to your account.
WARNING: this field cannot be changed once created.
|
| Keepalive interval | The number of seconds between each “active” notification.
If the ubiworx broker has not received a notification for
a period of twice as long as the value in this field, the
gateway will be automatically considered offline.
|
| Mobile | Indicate if the location of the gateway is constantly changing.
Useful for example if the gateway is installed in a car or some other
moving device
|
| Latitude | Indicate the latitude of the gateway.
|
| Longitude | Indicate the longiture of the gateway.
|
Configuration parameters¶

| Store and * Forward | Tells to the gateway if it should store sensor values and forward to the
broker whenever it has internet access
|
| Broker * | This field is for having a broker on a different server.
Usually you need to leave it at the default value that is
broker.ubiworx.com
|
| Email alert list | The email address used to receive any alarms triggered in
relation to this gateway.
|
| SMS alert list | The phone number used to receive any alarms triggered in
relation to this gateway.
